ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm Lyds, I'm 25 and I'm just a girl from the midlands, UK.I left the UK in 2024 after basically hitting rock bottom and needing an escape. So I booked a one way ticket to Bangkok and haven't looked back since! I started off solo travelling SE Asia for a while, visiting Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia, until I finally reached Australia where my true journey began! I met my [now] husband at a backpackers hostel in Western Australia. We have since travelled to Sri Lanka to attend a local wedding, spent a fair bit of time in Kuala Lumpur, and we've travelled to each of our home countries (Canada and of course the UK). We have spent the last year and a half in Western Australia, saving up and living in a regional town. But now it's time to set off on our year (ish) long trip around Australia, in our self-converted van, with our two cats, Dinosaur and Digby. This blog is full of tips and tricks, mishaps and real talk! (as well as a few juicy stories from my journal). Enjoy!
